A profile shot--try to avoid these. Note how you can only see one eye. How could you fix this shot? Move the camera to the right.

An important thing to remember when shooting close-ups is to try to AVOID profiles. The simplest way to remember this is to make sure you can see BOTH of the subject's eyes through your viewfinder. If you can only see one eye, you are shooting a profile.
